we're still recovering from covid but slower than we'd like.

Sam, the woman in hospital with Heatrher, is now home and progressing slowly though she is now able to walk again with aid. Please continue to remember her in your prayers.

Morning,

attached is our worship for this morning - a re-run of the service from the 20th September last year on the theme of 'faith'.

We've just returned from London where I spoke at the funeral of my great nephew, Harry who was 6. Faith was at the heart of that talk but it was shared with some who are struggling in their faith, particularly Harry's parents, Pete and Shona; can I ask you to pray for them that their faith would be strengthened.

I also asked you to pray for Sam, who was in hospital with heather and had spent 10 weeks in an induced coma due to covid. Sam is learning to walk again and took her first tentative steps a couple of days ago. please pray for her continued recovery.

This is a repeat from 6th sept last year on the theme of prayer.

I'm sorry it's another repeat but Heather and I are recovering from covid and, although Heather has been in hospital for the last 2 weeks she is improving and may be home in the next couple of days - God willing.

As the theme of the service is prayer can I ask you to pray for a woman named Sam who is on the ward with Heather. she has just come out of spending 10 weeks in ITU and thought she may never see her family again. She is not out of the woods and needs to make a lot more recovery before she can get home.

However, it is my intention to continue offering these online service for those too far away to attend, or who are unable to do so out of choice or circumstance. The link for tomorrow's service is below.

Hi everyone,

From next week, Sunday 27th June both Prenton & Wallasey churches will open for 'in person' worship.

Prenton meets from 11.00am and Wallasey from 10.30am. We are currently in covid restrictions so there will be no hymns singing and masks must be worn and social distancing maintained. It is hoped that theses measures will be lifted from the 19th July.

We recognise that not everybody will be willing or able to get to church for services so I will endeavour to continue providing an online service. I'm not sure yet if this will follow that pattern we've adopted over the last 15 months and some experimentation will be needed so please bear with me.

Obviously we would love to see you in person at church and my normal pattern for leading worship is that I'm at Prenton on the 1st & 3rd Sundays and Wallasey the 2nd & 4th.

Please give me a call if you have any questions about opening up or you just need to chat.
